In 2005 I had an idea. It stayed with me and grew year after year until it had become a whole world: two suns, alien peoples, a time that repeats itself. In 2022 I wrote the first sentence.
By day I’m an adult educator in Hanover. In my head, spaceships fly, alien councils convene, and a woman remembers who she really is.
My first book at 50? Not despite it, but because of it.
As a kid I loved Christopher Reeve’s Superman. His Kryptonian name was Kal-El. Decades later, in Sanskrit, I came across the word Vṛṇ: to give joy, to delight.
Kael. Vrin. The one who gives joy.
